Classic Squirrel is a Wild Critter found in  Plaza. Its Favorite food is Peanut.

By providing it with its preferred foods, the player will be able to add it to their collection, and it will also join them as a Companion that can be summoned and will go with them wherever they go. Because each animal species can only be fed once every 24 hours, once you have given it food on a given day, you won’t be able to give it any more food until the next time it appears.

Squirrels, which can be found roaming the Plaza, are among the friendliest creatures you’ll come across during your time in Dreamlight Valley. Squirrels are easily approachable and will not run away from you when you approach them unless it has been less than twenty-four hours since they have been fed.
